ADVANCED CLASS IN INLAY (MARQUETRY)

Class Time: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Age Requirement: 18 and above

Prerequisite: Completion of Basic Woodworking class

Inlay is a form of Marquetry, a manner of assembling different pieces of colored woods to a surface. It creates a design resembling a “puzzle” to embellish furniture and its allied arts.

This workshop, we will teach you the multidimensional processes of wood selection based on design, problem-solving, measuring, cutting, leveling, and finishing. In carrying out these processes, the participant will customize his unique design in furniture. Your original designs, paves the avenue to Branding your art in furniture, hallways, walls, ceiling, doors, wall art, etc. Distinctiveness is at a premium and INLAY is the advantage. For the tasks of efficiency and precision, the essential Jig Building is inclusive.
